Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) - කොළඹ කොටස් වෙළඳපොළ
The main stock exchange in Sri Lanka, responsible for providing a regulated market for trading shares, corporate debt securities, and other financial instruments.
Main Board - ප්රධාන පුවරුව
The primary trading board of the Colombo Stock Exchange, which lists large, established companies that meet higher capital, profitability, and public shareholding requirements.
Diri Savi Board - දිරි සවි පුවරුව
An alternate trading board on the CSE designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with more flexible listing requirements and lower capital thresholds.
Annual Report - වාර්ෂික වාර්තාව
A comprehensive report on a company's activities throughout the preceding year, containing financial statements, auditor reports, and information about the board of directors and business operations.
Market Turnover - වෙළඳපොළ පිරිවැටුම
The total value of shares traded during a specific period. It is calculated by multiplying the number of shares traded by their respective transaction prices.
Auditors - විගණකවරුන්
An independent professional or firm (e.g., KPMG, Ernst & Young, PwC) appointed to review and verify the accuracy of a company's financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Company Secretary - සමාගම් ලේකම්
An individual or firm responsible for ensuring the company complies with statutory and regulatory requirements, managing board meetings, and maintaining statutory registers.
Share Volume - කොටස් පරිමාව
The total number of shares of a company traded during a specific day or period.
Trade Volume - ගනුදෙනු වාර ගණන
The total number of individual buy-and-sell transactions executed for a stock in the market during a given period.
Established Year - ආරම්භ කළ වර්ෂය
The year the company was founded or incorporated, indicating its duration of existence and business history.
